Recreating the traditional Australian beach shack into a modern lifestyle haven was the goal for this project.

Leybrook understood the owner's desire for a spacious inviting outdoor entertaining area at the front and rear of the property to make the most of the ocean views to the front and casual space at the rear.

​

The internal spaces had previously been renovated with an updated kitchen and bathroom, and restructuring of the indoor space to create a beautiful indoor/outdoor flow for an ideal holiday retreat.

• Front verandah extensions

• New gable roof construction over deck

• Removal and replacement of all windows and doors to improve protection against the elements,  including a stunning new entrance

• Removal of old roof and installation of a full new Colorbond custom-orb roof

• Battening the entire house and installing new cladding.

• Construction of a new rear timber deck and staircase

• Painting the entire house

• New Colorbond fence to property

• Installation of new steel power pole to property with underground cables to the house.
