The owner required an outside covered area that gave them light but also shade.
We constructed this pergola & polycarbonate roof to fall back towards the original house, which was supported by Extenda brackets. This allows the breeze to come through & also gives them a sense of height & openness.
The owner closed in one end with retractable blinds giving them an area they could use in all weather conditions.
