​Many homes on the far south coast have been built using Oregon framing timber (Douglas Fir). Over a long period of time the timber has rotted & needs replacement, especially externally.

Leybrook has been replacing many of the decks at the homes because of the rot to the joists and decking. New treated pine framing & Modwood composite decking has been installed to avoid the possibility of rot returning.

The Modwood has become very popular due to being a recycled product and virtually maintenance free.
